On the sight for a 4 day project
TerraFirma is on the job site bright an early to prep foundation for stabilization through a combination of helical and hydraulic piers.
All gear is mobile
All of TerraFirma's gear is easily mobilized. I know what you're thinking, "the supplies you need to lift a home can fit in the back of a truck?" Why is it can. We tow an external power generator and everything else fits right back here.
Hole preparation for helical piers
Leo and his crew dug under the home to find the foundation for application of the pier bracket. Very non-invasive work. in later pictures you will see how easy we clean up.
Hydraulic pressure testing meter
This is a cool devise that tests of much pressure, rated in PSI we are putting on each pier and at each point of the foundation.
Bracket placed next to back window in Portland home
This is normal bracket placement. Notice how under the back window the foundation is basically missing. So we had to make sure the lift was even and that we were spot on with our measurements.
Bed rock is hard to dig out
This mini jack hammer was used to cut through the bed rock enabling us to reach the foundation. We have every tool in the box to make sure we are pin point with our work.
Unique and creative bracket placement
The bed rock didn't allow us to drill as deep as we wanted to to find the bottom of the foundation. What we did here was attach the bracket to the side of the home so that we still get a secure fasten to the structure.
Clean up
Clean up is very easy. Nobody would even know that we dug to the bottom of the house and lifted it off the ground. Things are always restored back to their original state.
