Wall Cracks
Cracks along the corners of doors and windows are indicators of a settling foundation.
Gaps appearing under walls
As the foundation settles, the floor begins to pull away from the walls creating a gap as seen in this picture.
Cracks by doors
In severe cases, cracks will appear in not just one point in the home, but in multiple places throughout.
Front door cracks
More wall cracks caused by settling foundation.
Separation at support walls from floor
These are the scary ones that are seen more towards the interior of the home when the floor separates from the walls. This means that the soil settlement has not just occurred around the perimeter but has made its way toward to center of the home.
Hydraulic pier installation
Hydraulic piers are the best option for foundation stabilization and potential lift. By fastening brackets to the foundation footing and driving steel piers to bed rock or load bearing strata, stabilization or lift is achieved.
Another hydraulic pier
Pier placed on corner of home. 6 piers in total were used to evenly distribute the weight of the home and the consistently stabilize where needed.
Post project clean up
Yards are returned back to normal after construction in complete.
Closed gaps
Separation between wall and floor is not closed up and appropriate support and lift was achieved.
Inner post gap closed
The inner part of the home that showed gaps between the wall and floor are no closed because of the even distribution of lift to the entire section of the home.
