    Chris I. is a property manager in Coos Bay, OR. While visiting this property he noticed that there were cracks in the exterior walls and the doors were not opening properly. He started asking around to his friends. One of them referred him to TerraFirma Foundation Systems.

    Within a few days of contacting the office they sent out Ryan Thomas to inspect the property. He recommended that they install Push Piers in the foundation.  These piers can be installed inside or outside of the foundation walls and will not only stop settlement but can lift the foundation back to its original position. This will close any cracks and improve the function of the door.

    Local Coos Bay, OR resident Pamela H. noticed that there was water leaking into her basement through the floor.  She started looking for a company that could come and help her. While watching television she saw an ad for TerraFirma Foundation Systems and decided to give them a call.

    A few days later Casey Moore came out to her property. He suggested that they install a couple products that could help. He recommended that they install a SuperSump Sump Pump.  This is a 1/3 horsepower cast-iron sump pump that is capable of pumping out 2,500 gallons of water per hour. Also it was recommended that they install a WaterGuard System. The system is installed along the perimeter of the basement to catch incoming water seepage and direct it towards the sump pump.

    Nick N owns a home in North Bend, OR. His home was built in the 1970s on a sand dune. He realized that the foundation may need to be supported.  While watching television he saw an ad for TerraFirma Foundation Systems. He though they would be the company to come and help him.

    Local North Bend, OR resident Jon Y was in his basement one day when he noticed that there was water intruding into it. He knew that this would cause a big problem if he did not get it fixed soon. Jon decided that the internet would be a good place to go to find a company that could help him.

Along with a WaterGuard Interior Drainage System, which is installed along the perimeter of the basement and will catch any water that comes in and lead it to the sump pump, the basement would be fully protected from further water damage.

    Jon now has peace of mind that no water will enter his basement and cause major damage.

    With severe racking on the right side of the home just along where the chimney foundation is installed, North Bend home owner Tom and Deanna C. were concerned that this problem would continue to worsen and become not only a potential hazard to their safety and health but a much more expensive fix should they wait any longer. After seeing a commercial on TV for foundation repair and stabilization from TerraFirma, they called and scheduled a free estimate.

    Upon inspection by Casey Moore, the foundation around the chimney had settled roughly 2" and the supports along the rim joist had rotted out and there was nothing supporting the front door. Two helical piles were installed around the right side of the house to stabilize and lift the foundation, closing up the foundation cracks and providing extra support to the chimney. Two Smart Jacks were installed at the front door to replace the rotting beams.

    After both solutions were set in place, the foundation cracks had closed up, and the front porch and door are now stabilized. Tom and Deanna can rest easy knowing their foundation is properly supported.

When dealing with concrete slabs, they are frequently poured on soil that is wet, weak, or poorly compacted, leading to eventual settlement of the slab. This settlement can result in uneven floors or cracks, causing floors to separate from walls and doorways. Charles and Mary L. from North Bend, OR, observed a slope on the right side of their basement floor. Seeking to address this issue by lifting and stabilizing their floor, they contacted TerraFirma for assistance.

System Design Specialist Pat Anderson conducted a comprehensive assessment of Charles and Mary’s property. He confirmed that the basement had settled 2.5 inches on the right side and recommended TerraFirma's Concrete Leveling solution, which utilizes polyurethane and Nexus Pro to lift and stabilize the basement floor effectively.
