I run a sump pump on an extension cord to keep the water from getting too high but this is not a permanent solution. Need a better solution.

Hello, My name is Gerrad, and I am having problems at my house related to soil heaving. We bought our house in 2017, and at the time, all the walls were covered with wall paper, so we didn't notice the cracks in the walls. Now that we have gone through a couple of dry/wet cycles, we notice that the additions on our house rise and fall with the soil and as a result, the cracks get bigger and smaller. The problem is mainly where the additions of the house are, and if you look at where the new foundation is, it is clear that it is rotating away from the house.
