Your home sends clear warning signs when its foundation is failing. Cracked or buckling walls, uneven floors, and stuck windows and doors are telling you that your foundation has been damaged. Foundation problems affect the safety, appearance, and value of your home and, if not addressed properly, lead to bigger - and more expensive - repairs down the road.
We take pride in providing long-term, permanent solutions for your home. Take a look at some of our completed foundation repair projects below. Check back often, we like to show off our hard work!
Pre-installation of ODOT building. We will be installing helical piers to stabilize the foundation and using our polyurethane foam Concrete Leveling systems to level the sunken slabs inside the building.
He the foundation is exposed so we can attach our pier bracket. From there, the pier will be inserted into the bracket and the foundation will be lifted.
Before any drilling occurs, the pier will need to be placed perpendicular to the foundation to achieve maximum stability.
Once the right angle is in place, drilling commences. It is similar to a cork screw but we use a much larger screw and it takes heavy machinery to drive though soil.
We have achieved a depth to where the underlying soil will be able to support the weight of the structure. Time for the last fine tuning adjustments.
Final touches hydraulically for final stabilization and perfect alignment.
Injecting exapnding polyurethane foam is a simple and permanent way to fix uneven floors and slabs. Once the void is located we drill into the sub floor area and insert these plugs. Very clean and easy. We then attach our hoses to inject our patent polyurethane material as see in the next picture.
Taking the last final measurement here to make sure the foundation is stabilized and the floor is level. All in a days work for TerraFirma. The structure is now as good as new and will stay like this for many years to come. Great job team!
We installed (2) Model HP288 Helical Piers to stabilize and lift the back of a Scale Booth at M.P. 110 Northbound on Interstate 5. . After the lift we filled the void under the slab with PolyLevel.
