Foundation Repair Photo Album: Ramsey Crawlspace Encapsulation
Encapsulating your crawlspace is becoming one of the leading ways to improve not only the value of your home but also the health. The project consists of separating the air from the cold damp earth with a crawlspace liner, removing the water via a sump pump system, regulating the air with a dehumidifying unit, and closing off vents. All of which are completed for the Ramsey's project.
Overview of crawlspace
Cleanspace liner separates the crawlspace air from the cold and damp earth. By doing this, the homeowner has better control over the temperature and moisture levels under their home.
Entry to crawlspace
Cleanspace liner is a continuous encapsulating covering which comes right up to the edges of the foundation wall and the entrance to the crawlspace.
Vent cover
Encapsulating the crawlspace wouldn't make much sense if there is any type of free flowing air in and out of the space. Installing vent covers achieves this goal.
