Your home sends clear warning signs when its foundation is failing. Cracked or buckling walls, uneven floors, and stuck windows and doors are telling you that your foundation has been damaged. Foundation problems affect the safety, appearance, and value of your home and, if not addressed properly, lead to bigger - and more expensive - repairs down the road.
We take pride in providing long-term, permanent solutions for your home. Take a look at some of our completed foundation repair projects below. Check back often, we like to show off our hard work!
TerraFirma truck and crew on the site bright and early to support a slipping home into the lake (so it doesn't slip into the lake).
These are the piers that will be inserted into the ground. These will be connected with steel pins as we need to drive the piers 40-50 feet into the ground depending on the drill spot.
The angle the home is built on is, as you can see, steep. Sometimes you need to get creative with how you can access the right drilling point. Here Chad S. is mountaineering the hillside.
This project was tricky and really required some creative thinking. There had been some short term repair work done on the foundation already so we needed to be precise with our prep holes to accurately and effectively support the home.
Like magic, we are in the ground. We had to cut through cement, rock, roots, etc to get a good fasten. Now we are secure and in the ground and moving in the right direction.
Usually we can place our machine right next to where the helical tiebacks are being drilled in. We can't really do that here so this contraption was made to achieve the right amount of stability for helical tieback installation.
This is the same contraption for helical tiebacks view from underneath. The holes are drilled and ready to be inserted.
It never hurts to have an amazing view of the lake while working hard. Great work team on being creative and regardless of the obstacle, getting the job done.
This was an amazing project for us. A beautiful home on the Lake of Lake Oswego. This house was slowly slipping inward towards the river. TerraFirma to the rescue. We used helical piers and helical tie backs to resupport this home and secure the foundation.
