The whole process was very simple. I had standing water under my house. Clay Carter came out right away, took a look, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work at a time that fit with my schedule. Katie Salazar in the office checked in thru every step to ensure the progress was to my satisfaction.The crew James Taylor, Chris Raycraft, Carter Dennis and Mikey Castaneda were excellent. They obviously do this alot. James explained the job to me thoroughly. They worked quickly and communicated with eachother respectfully; which I appreciate. They left my house, inside and out, cleaner that they found it. When my brother, a carreer Excavator Operator referred them to me, he said, " They're the best, don't even bother with anyone else". I believe him to be 100% correct.

These folks came in and did a great job start to finish. When there were some difficulties they were there with answers and work arounds, always willing to get the job done to their high standards. James was great on the front end, informing me on the Everbrace information to stabilize our foundation, Sammy put all the pieces and dates together and Rocky, Harlan & Dorian did a great job on site. The basement not only looks great now, but I have the peace of mind that the foundation won't give out from under our home. Thank you!

TerraFirma people James, Bryan and Jorge that came out to the job were very respectful of my property and hard working to finish the job in one day. My wife and I noticed that they liked working together and enjoyed working for there company and took pride in the job they were doing. They stayed until they were satisfied and we were satisfied with the with the finale completion of the project. they left the job site in good shape.

Initial inspection was thorough with specifics to solve my basement project. James Taylor and his crew, Tarin and Carlos were fantastic. They arrived on time and worked tirelessly for 2 days to waterproof my basement. James went the extra mile to solve an additional concern I had in my garage. They went above and beyond in protecting my home from dirt and debris on the numerous trips up and down into the crawlspace. The crew did a tremendous job installing our pumps and encapsulated system. They took extra care to ensure at each step the membrane was secure and watertight. The crew protected our floors with plastic and cleaned up each day. They put in extra time and effort on a particularly difficult installation. We had TerraFirma out to work on our foundation six months ago and were very pleased with the experience. We had a pretty big project on a home built in 1900 and the company worked with us to divide it into phases so it wasn't so financially overwhelming. Phase 1 included crawl space encapsulation, replacing old wood columns with smart jacks, carbon fiber stitching cracks, installing a dehumidifier and a sump pump with drainage line. After starting the work they realized some components that had been in the contract weren't needed and they quickly had me sign an addendum that would lower the cost of the project. James Taylor, the lead was great to work with, always explaining their plans for the day, progress they had made and ensuring that we were pleased with the work. The crew was right on time every day for two weeks. They were clean and courteous. They were set to finish a day early but found some water entering the basement while they were wrapping up. James called his supervisor and they set to work installing a section of drainage system that was unplanned. They did this at no additional cost because they said that is what they were hired to do and it was the right thing to do. I was shocked by this because it is hard to find a company and crew off workers that will stand by their work like that. Terra Firma might be more expensive than other quotes you get but it was the first time I have felt that a company genuinely cared about the quality of their work and they treated my home with respect. James and his crew (Byron, Alex, and Jake) went way above and beyond to make our basement a better and more useable place. They certainly could have just done the minimum that was agreed upon but they didn't and they will get my business for any future needs because of it. Our unfinished basement and crawlspace is now clean, comfortable and dry. The work was transformative. I highly recommend this company.

James and his crew were efficient, kind, and exceeded my expectations. My foundation was needed piers both outside and in the basement, yet they were quick and cleaned up. I even noticed a change in my home’s interior when it was fixed! Cracks closed up. They took care of the whole process, including permits and inspections. And, James communicated, including walking me through, clearly listening to my responses. I recommend TerraFirma, especially James who was the foreman on my job, especially to those who want to be respected, want to understand what is happening, and want good communication throughout the job.
