Cracked Concrete Sidewalks and Driveways

Cracks in concrete driveways can create uneven surfaces, posing tripping hazards for pedestrians and causing potential damage to vehicles.

Cracked concrete driveways can also diminish curb appeal and potentially lower the value of your property.

Cracked Driveways

sunken driveways garage concrete
If you have a driveway that’s sunken or uneven, replacing it might not be the most cost-effective option. We can use PolyLevel to raise the concrete, creating an even surface and preventing further sinking. Our driveway leveling process can eliminate unsafe conditions and improve the curb appeal of your home.

Sunken Driveways

uneven porche concrete
You shouldn’t have to worry about tripping on uneven concrete when relaxing on your patio. You might also notice your table and chairs wobbling because of uneven concrete. Concrete leveling can eliminate these issues and provide a safe, even surface.

Uneven Patios, Porches
& Landings

tf cracked pools concrete
Cracked or uneven pool decks can cause stress on the pool’s coping, tiles, or other structural components. Over time, this stress can lead to damage to the pool’s equipment, such as pumps, filters, or plumbing, resulting in leaks or malfunctions.

If your garage has sloped floors, cracks in tiles or gaps you might have a concrete settlement problem. Our use of polyurethane foam for concrete floor leveling is a long-lasting alternative to self-leveling treatments.

WHY DO ConcretE SLABS crack, Sink, & Settle UNDER HOMES, Sidewalks, and PATIOS?

Concrete is strong and versatile. It can be poured, shaped, and made into just about anything–but it’s not indestructible. When you see cracked concrete, broken slabs, or a sunken driveway on your property – there could be several factors at play.
TerraFirma can diagnose and fix your concrete concerns.

tf cheap building concrete

Poorly compacted soil – When your home was built, the movement of soil around the building site results in poor compaction. Even when the replaced soil is compacted well, it’s never as stable as the original soil. Over time, this can cause voids to form and slabs to settle.

tf dry soil concrete

Dry soil – During dry conditions or even just during periods of warm weather and low precipitation, the soil under your concrete will dry out and shrink, creating voids. The concrete above eventually cracks and sinks into these empty spaces.

tf water cracks concrete

Flooding – Wet, soft soil caused by flooding is just too weak to support the concrete above it. In the worst case, the soil erodes and washes away completely, leaving behind large voids that cannot support the weight of the concrete above.

tf rainwater concrete

Rainwater or gutter runoff – Runoff from gutters or downspouts can cause soil erosion around the perimeter of your home. As soil erodes, it can create voids beneath concrete surfaces such as driveways, walkways, or patios, causing them to sink or become uneven.

tf rotting concrete

Rotting tree roots – Decaying tree roots can create voids or channels in the soil. This can exacerbate existing foundation issues and contribute to soil erosion around concrete surfaces, leading to further settlement or instability.

tf clogged concrete

Clogged gutters – Prolonged exposure to water from overflowing or clogged gutters can saturate the soil around your home’s foundation, causing it to expand and exert pressure against the concrete.

Sidewalks & Driveways REPAIRED

Don’t take our word for it – see what our clients have to say.
From Roseburg to Eugene, Portland to Seattle, our Concrete Repair work speaks for itself

The customer service really can't be beat. And the product (raising/leveling of front walkway) went very well
replacing concrete slab.
from the time they gave us a bid until the job was done the company did a marvelous job. They gave me an estimate if I was to tear all the driveway out and replace the concrete, vs their technology. We are happy with the work and the cost savings.
On November 13, 14 and 20th, 2017, it was our pleasure to have Terrafirma work crew at our home in Medford, Oregon. We were appre-hensive after one bad general contractor experience which left us with one end of our home requiring foundation stabilization and a concrete 15 step curved front entry needing both stabilization and filling work to be done. It took but a short time to come to the realization that we had made the right decision. They were on time, fully equipped and exceedingly professional. They functioned as a finely oiled machine. Each member was part of the team and each seemed to know his job almost without verbal communication It was a sight to behold, not only the quiet efficiency but the willingness to answer all questions without hesitation and to do whatever was needed or required to make us feel that in their minds we were the most important people there. That impression was exhibited by every workman on site. Their work was finished on time and as far as we can see with excellent results. We cannot recommend Terrafirma STRONGLY ENOUGH. This extends to their office administration, Amber Gausnel of Customer Development; Rob Philby, Sales Representative; Wes Johnson, On-site Foreman/Supervisor; his crewmen, Robert, Jason and Mason; and James Cross, Polylevel Supervisor. TO ALL OF THEM WE THANK YOU EXCEEDINGLY!!!
Skylar and Johnny were at my place two days lifting concrete. They did an excellent job. Very professional, answered my questions, and left everything looking very good and neat. I would highly recommend them
Skylar was wonderful to work with. Was very professional and did a great job with raising our concrete pad.,
Our house is nearly 100 years old, with crumbly concrete and bowing walls in the basement and lots of "do it yourself" work done on it. We love it. But it is a challenge. "Nothing in this house is square and everything is out of round." Terra Firma installed Everbrace steel walls and pillars to stabilize the foundation. Heather, Rocky, John and Anthony were all great workers, from customer relations to brute labor and skillful application. They were on time, polite, informative, and on task. Our house will stand another 100 years thanks to them. Pat S.
Amazing what they have done to lift the concrete. Very professional and am extremely pleased with how this project turned out
Subject: 1956 3,000 SW Portland daylight basement Project A: New basement level egress #1 double french door install, plus upgrade existing bearing wall with Smart Jack products, plus 3 foundation crack patches. Project B: New basement level egress #2 4' X 4' window & Rockwall window box install creating 4th bedroom making use of existing square footage. From initial sales contact and solution/scope discussions; to the engineering & permitting team; to the foundation repair, concrete cutting & rough frame-in; and finally the door install. Considering price and quality, I could not have been happier. After my experience with the door project, I inquired about a new window install that I hadn't previously considered a structural & financial option. Within a week, I had a contract in hand and was on the schedule. Everyone on the team made it happen and I am very happy with the results. Thank you TF!!!
Found this company through google search. They already had ~5 star reviews. And I am glad I picked them for sport court concrete support project. They were easy to reach for questions, gave reasonable quotes and were easy to get the project scheduled. The staff doing the work were friendly, explained what was happening clearly and cleaned up the job site well. They offer 5 year warranty on their work. Overall a positive experience thus far. Will use them for any future needs.
Called TerraFirma to take a look at the concrete steps that have been settling for years. Bailey Mercer is very professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. He answered all our questions, and addressed our concerns. At the end, he presented us with 3 different solutions. There was no pressure to pick one, or pick the most expensive one, or pick one within the hour or the deal is gone. We had the weekend to think about it. Bailey did a follow up call as promised, and answered even more questions - all to our satisfaction. I will update when work begins and at its conclusion. Bailey should get a surf and turf dinner, not just a lunch!
Had a very good experience with TerraFirma. Got three bids, theirs was best by far, detailed, many pictures, explained exactly what work was to be done, a few options available on additional work. Work consisted of leveling three concrete walkway pads, each about 7'x4' with some complications due to a broken block. Communication by email or phone was quickly answered by the project manager, Sammy. Work day was scheduled well in advance, with a reminder sent a few days before. Exact arrival time was provided and they arrived on time. Excellent work team, two employees, Ken, foreman, and Zack, did the work exactly as laid out during the bid interview, took no longer than was expected. They were easy to talk to and were intent on ensuring we were happy with the results. Thanks for the good work and good experience. Excellent example of real service, good people.
