Kudos to Riley, a TerraFirma System Design Specialist. Riley is a smart guy. Honest and communicative. He's focused on problem-solving instead of just selling products. You don't find that skill very often these days. I had an excellent experience getting a crawlspace encapsulation estimate from him.

I was referred to John from Terra Firma when I was looking to have our foundation inspected. John was very friendly and knowledgable and came out to our house to measure and inspect everything. In the end he was able to put our mind at ease and did a great job of explaining different scenarios and what he was looking for.

John even inspected the crawlspace while he was out and provided great feedback there as well. Overall we got a lot of good information and never felt as though we were being pushed into unnecessary services.

We called TerraFirma with a pretty significant problem. We had just purchased a home and were a bit misled on a couple of items. The basement and crawlspace were mold infested (which we did know). What we did not know was that at times of the year, there would be some standing water in the crawlspace. We also didn't know that the drain from the sump pump was actually underwater (adjacent lake), nor did we know the pool backflushed into that same line and actually would enter the crawlspace whenever that process occured. The crawlspace was unvented and unconditioned....the perfect storm of BAD! Our goal was to first remediate the mold and then resolve the issues that allowed the mold to grow in the first place. Enter Terra Firma. Tulane and Terra Firma stood head and shoulders above every other company I spoke with. It wasn't jus that they were going to fix it- we literally walked through every step and every product-I knew what I was buying before we started. The crew was professional, on time and did exactly what they said they would do and in the time frame promised. With Terra Firma, we waterproofed and encapsulated our crawlspace, we insulated the crawlspace, we installed new sub floor drainage with new sump pumps with battery backup to lower the water table under the house (that now drains above the high water line), we installed new structural floor posts where others had rotted, we installed a bypass for the pool overflow and we installed dehumidification and we are in the process of now conditioning the space. Terra Firma led the way and did an excellent job both on the communication and on the installation (at the price originally quoted!). I would highly recommend this firm for anyone with complex and challenging crawlspace issues. Great work and fantastic team from start to finish!

He was so knowledge and really took into account all of the needs of the house structurally and visually. He was extremely professional in house and on the phone. Nothing was over sold or up sold, and every concern I had was listened to and taken into account. Every detail was in the bid neatly and nothing was out of place. Mr. Stanford did a thorough inspection of our crawlspace and gave us the honest opinion that very little needed to be addressed. He was very professional and clearly very experienced. This was after a competitor came out and tried to convince us we needed an $18,000 encapsulation.

Just had clean out of old duct work and old insulation, etc. plus encapsulation of my crawl space. The crew worked really hard and professionally throughout the 5 day process and the foreman kept me informed along the wife. Have worked with Terra Firma on several occasions: pier placement and jacks for house, french drain in crawl space, and replacement of sump pump, etc - alll involved from the estimators, the office personnel, and work crews have
been excellent throughout.

Jorge and his team did a great job in my crawlspace replacing 40-year-old cracked wood support posts with TerraFirma's SmarkJack posts. Jorge was kind, respectful, knowledgeable and thorough, always keeping me informed as to exactly what he and his team were doing and how long it would take, plus having me check on their work. We had Tyler from TerraFirma come out to bid fixing a standing water issue in our crawlspace. He was thorough (crawled the entire crawlspace), knowledgeable and responsive to questions. As a real estate agent having access to good contractors is vital, and his professionalism has placed TerraFirma solidly on our short list.

Andrew, Joey, Caidin, and Preston did the encapsulation of our crawl space. A dingy and damp crawl space has been transformed into the look of a hospital operating room! All were good workers and very helpful, with ideas and tips, and noticed issues that were not a part of their duties, but nonetheless did need to be addressed. No review yet on how the system works, but I can highly recommend this installation crew! Thank you guys!
