We had Tyler from TerraFirma come out to bid fixing a standing water issue in our crawlspace. He was thorough (crawled the entire crawlspace), knowledgeable and responsive to questions. As a real estate agent having access to good contractors is vital, and his professionalism has placed TerraFirma solidly on our short list.

I hired TerraFirma to do a seismic retrofit on my house. The entire experience was outstanding! They showed up exactly when they said they would. The job was completed in the expected time and they cleaned up after themselves.
I feel like the cost of the project was more than reasonable for the peace of mind l now have, knowing l have done what l can to protect my home in the event of an earthquake.
I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a professional company to work on their foundation.

We had a difficult time getting a company to follow through to repair our sidewalks. They would not show up or came and never called back.
So I was glad when TerraFirma called back right away and came out for a estimate. Ken did a great job and I don't worry about neighbors falling.

Installers were very professional. I asked for a few areas to be filled farther They made adjustments in areas that I asked gladly. I would recommend TerraFirm Foundation Systems to others. My back was out, the guys removed items from side of the house. Please give the installation team our thanks

Don't hesitate, call these folks and specifically ask for Seth!! I am not a construction minded individual and had a level of intimidation when asking to have someone come out to look at our foundation, but Seth made everything so dang easy. Never once did I feel like he was talking over my head (very knowledgable!) and was extremely respectful with any/all questions I had. He truly took his time and didn't make me feel like I was wasting his. 100/10!

Jeremy did an excellent job. The Terra Firma process worked fantastic. It was well worth the money!

I was referred to John from Terra Firma when I was looking to have our foundation inspected. John was very friendly and knowledgable and came out to our house to measure and inspect everything. In the end he was able to put our mind at ease and did a great job of explaining different scenarios and what he was looking for.

John even inspected the crawlspace while he was out and provided great feedback there as well. Overall we got a lot of good information and never felt as though we were being pushed into unnecessary services.

I will certainly be reaching out to Terra Firma for any future needs!

This company is pretty amazing, I can't state that enough.
We had a flooded crawl space with torn soggy ducts lying in the dirt. I think they've sent around ten people over the course of the project: Antonio, Jonathan, Robert, Fernando, Christian, Jesse, Jorge, and others. They've done an excellent job.
Our kid has asthma, that's why. This past year he's had far fewer asthma attacks. IMO it was well worth it.

Terrafirma is an outstanding company.
They know what they're doing.
I highly recommend them.

I had my estimate with Pat Dunn today. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable about our areas geography. He offered a solution to my issue but also said it was not necessary in my case. My experience with the TerraFirma Company and their employees was just outstanding. They were polite, timely, took time to explain to me what they were doing and why. When they were finished, they explained everything that they had done and the results. Then they cleaned up my yard and you couldn't even tell they had been there. A big Thank You to Taylor, Lewis, and Brent and the two gentlemen that I can't remember their names. Also, the support staff at the office did a very good job of keeping me informed of the process of the necessary permits. I highly recommend this company.

Jorge and his team did a great job in my crawlspace replacing 40-year-old cracked wood support posts with TerraFirma's SmarkJack posts. Jorge was kind, respectful, knowledgeable and thorough, always keeping me informed as to exactly what he and his team were doing and how long it would take, plus having me check on their work. Andrew, Joey, Caidin, and Preston did the encapsulation of our crawl space. A dingy and damp crawl space has been transformed into the look of a hospital operating room! All were good workers and very helpful, with ideas and tips, and noticed issues that were not a part of their duties, but nonetheless did need to be addressed. No review yet on how the system works, but I can highly recommend this installation crew! Thank you guys!

Jonathan Heredia, Brandon, Jonathan, Lucas and Kameron recently did work on our crawlspace and they did and outstanding job. Very professional! I would highly recommend them and TerraFirma for any crawlspace work.

We were able to get an appointment two days after calling and they were even able to come earlier after checking in to make sure we were available. Even though we were given some hard news about the repairs needed Jason did so in such a friendly and courteous manner. He was very patient with me and explained all of the proposal in detail. I really appreciate all of the time Jason took to help me today. It really made me feel like our house wasn’t just a job.

Mr. Stanford did a thorough inspection of our crawlspace and gave us the honest opinion that very little needed to be addressed. He was very professional and clearly very experienced. This was after a competitor came out and tried to convince us we needed an $18,000 encapsulation.

Highly recommend Terrafirma!!!!

So I had Jorge as a Forman with Juan, Manuel, Kevin, Zach, and Daniel.
First off, Jorge did an excellent job of communicating the process, explaining materials he was using, and setting up the sump online system with my wife (it was the first time he'd installed this particular sump, so the set up was new to him as well).
Secondly, When he was done, even though it was Friday night and I know he wanted to get back home, he chatted with my wife and I and was very pleasant and positive. I believe he said he's been there for four years and also said it was a great company to work for. I also work in the construction industry and was generally curious about the company. I could tell he was sincere.
Lastly, To say they worked hard was an extreme understatement; they had to haul in by hand 5 gallon buckets of concrete and haul out all the jackhammering they did to get the foundation flood protection as well as the sump set. No standing around. No cell phone use. Just solid work. Jorge's crew was friendly enough, but they were no-nonsense and left the up front communication to him.

The cost wasn't cheap, but we went with Terra Firma strictly on reputation. We live about 75 miles out of PDX, and to get the job done, they sent out an additional crew for a crucial piece of the work. I would say, despite the cost (and it's not like they were ripping me off, it was just a costly project), I got my money's worth based on what I saw from the labor intensity. I really can't believe how much they did in such little time. They said "one day", and by God they made it happen. They had to hammer out approximately a 75' long, 8" wide by 10" deep trench along the inner concrete foundation of my house, hammer out and install a sump, then core out, install and set a discharge conduit about 12 feet outside of my house. Not a small task for a day's work.

My only nitpick would be there was a small amount of dust left over from the work, despite the very elaborate taping and containment plastic they used (which was a LOT). They did great of taping everything and covering floors, etc. I was concerned about silica, and Jorge told me they would use a vacuum shroud for the hammering process, which I assume was done, but was not at home for that phase of the process. My wife has asthma, so dust is our nemesis!

This is one of those projects that you hope you don't have to use (flood prevention), but a small part of me wants to have water trickle in to see the efficacy of the work. Time will tell!
Until then, thank you Jorge and crew for kicking some ass, and getting a good tackle on our flood prevention!

We reached out to a few local companies before deciding to go with TerraFirma for our basement waterproofing. Their solution was straightforward, well explained and competitively priced.

We had a sump pump installed along with a waterproof membrane and dry track along the walls. Their team found a way to put the sump pump under the stairs so it was accessible but out of the way.

I had a few concerns that I brought to their attention after the project was finished. They went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of. I appreciate that they really stood by their work.

Since the waterproofing was finished we had torrential rain (that previously would have left standing water) and our basement remained bone dry. The peace of mind has definitely been worth it.

Terrafirma just completed a crawl space drainage project with installation of sump pump. They did a fabulous job. Jorge was the excellent foreman. He is professional and a great communicator. His team included Juan and Manuel. They all worked incredibly hard to get the job done on time under difficult conditions. They also did a great job of cleanup. I cannot recommend them enough!

These guys were fantastic! Luis Juarez and his team did an amazing job. We had minimal disruption, and the job site was kept clean at all times. The resulting stability of the building is great. They were responsive to our questions, courteous at all times, and a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

However, after working with the management team, a remedy and resolution was reached that left me feeling this was an unfortunate exception to their general high-quality service and standards.

4/5 stars due to some bumps in the road but they ultimately made it right.

TerraFirma raised a settled front porch on our rental property in Olympia. Raised it almost 6". That went just as discussed, no surprises and obviously...

The floor in our shop is nice and level that the door closes so nicely. before the door would not close at all. This is the second time that TerraFirma has helped us out of a sunken floor!

Great work. I had huge foundation issues on a large waterfront project. Terra firma waterproofed my basement and lifted the house on hydolic piers to level it out. They saved my project. Seth was a fantastic project manager and Oscar and Jorge completed the job extremely well. 10/10 would recommend for any foundation issues.
