THE SMARTJACK SYSTEM stabilizes crawl space beams and floor joists. It’s the ideal solution to lift the floors above the crawl space toward their original elevation and reduce floor “bounce” caused by weakened floor joists or excessive spans. The SmartJack system addresses weak foundation soils by creating a solid base of foundation support posts to distribute the weight of your home. Galvanized steel columns are cut to length, set on a cast aluminum footing, and secured to existing girders or supplemental beams with adjustable top brackets. The heavy-duty threaded rods of these crawl space support posts allow for adjustment and can even lift sagging and sloping floors.

  • Provides a permanent solution to undersized beams, rotting, shifting and settling wooden posts
  • Installed by attached steel support beams to your floor joists and a sturdy base at the floor. Once all posts are installed, they are adjusted to raise your floors to a level position.

We had a good experience with Terra Firma. We had 6 different estimates and went with their company because they did not try to sell us on something we didn’t need. After reviewing all the estimates, and talking to Bailey, the system design specialist, we realized that we did not need our foundation lifted to fix our sinking kitchen floor but instead, we needed stabilizing and lifting of the floor joist under our kitchen. TerraFirma also installed a new beam in our family room and lifted our settled concrete in our front walkway. They also buried a downspout which was draining into our front yard next to our walkway.
