This was truly an awesome experience, from the time Will arrived to do the estimate, to completion of the job a little more than a week later. Will gave us great insight as to the foundation and build of our home. We were having issues with a back patio and front steps that were added to the property post build and had sunk quite a bitt.

All the folks we dealt with at TerraFirm were friendly, informative, helpful and kind. From our initial contact with Hillary to schedule appointments, to our very informative meeting with Will for the appraisal and estimate, and a very special shout-out to Schylar and Jonny, for a very cool learning experience during installation. We pestered them with questions the entire time they were here and they graciously and willingly answered them all! great crew, awesome job and a joy to spend time with.

We all know home improvement is stressful. Seth from TerraFirma really helped out. He communicated along the way, called to let me know he would be arriving shortly, and just had the super calming energy to himself. That was helpful cuz dang, I'm intense, I admit it. Had TerraFirma come to our home for estimate to level our drive way, which had been "leveled" 2x prior and failed, Turns out, in less than 1.5 yrs, our home fell forward 1.78 inches and cracked our foundation in 3 places... YIKES! The work got underway once permits came in, the 2 crews did an install of 4 piers indide our garage and leveled a driveway, walkway and entry steps.

I love TerraFirma. We had a new foundation with a sump pump and dehumidifier four years ago. First, it is so great having a dry basement! Each year, TerraFirma sends someone to check the sump pump and the dehumidifier. Jeff did the inspection last year and this year. He showed me what he was doing, documented with pictures, answered my questions and showed up on time! This has been my experience with every interaction I have had from the beginning of the project to the follow-up.

So I had Jorge as a Forman with Juan, Manuel, Kevin, Zach, and Daniel.
First off, Jorge did an excellent job of communicating the process, explaining materials he was using, and setting up the sump online system with my wife (it was the first time he'd installed this particular sump, so the set up was new to him as well).
Secondly, When he was done, even though it was Friday night and I know he wanted to get back home, he chatted with my wife and I and was very pleasant and positive. I believe he said he's been there for four years and also said it was a great company to work for. I also work in the construction industry and was generally curious about the company. I could tell he was sincere.
Lastly, To say they worked hard was an extreme understatement; they had to haul in by hand 5 gallon buckets of concrete and haul out all the jackhammering they did to get the foundation flood protection as well as the sump set. No standing around. No cell phone use. Just solid work. Jorge's crew was friendly enough, but they were no-nonsense and left the up front communication to him.

The cost wasn't cheap, but we went with Terra Firma strictly on reputation. We live about 75 miles out of PDX, and to get the job done, they sent out an additional crew for a crucial piece of the work. I would say, despite the cost (and it's not like they were ripping me off, it was just a costly project), I got my money's worth based on what I saw from the labor intensity. I really can't believe how much they did in such little time. They said "one day", and by God they made it happen. They had to hammer out approximately a 75' long, 8" wide by 10" deep trench along the inner concrete foundation of my house, hammer out and install a sump, then core out, install and set a discharge conduit about 12 feet outside of my house. Not a small task for a day's work.

My only nitpick would be there was a small amount of dust left over from the work, despite the very elaborate taping and containment plastic they used (which was a LOT). They did great of taping everything and covering floors, etc. I was concerned about silica, and Jorge told me they would use a vacuum shroud for the hammering process, which I assume was done, but was not at home for that phase of the process. My wife has asthma, so dust is our nemesis!

This is one of those projects that you hope you don't have to use (flood prevention), but a small part of me wants to have water trickle in to see the efficacy of the work. Time will tell!

In a word, Terra Firma was AWESOME! From the beginning to the end. Everyone involved, from the first visit by Tyler to the project coordinator, Jonah, to the crew that did the hard work of stabilizing my foundation, James the foreman, along with Oscar and Jayden. The engineering and permitting with the city were handled and I was informed all along the way. The crew showed up on the dot every day, was friendly, professional and respectful of the property. My property was restored to the condition they found it in with pressure washing and putting the deck back together. They also alerted me to problems with my plumbing that needed to be addressed that I would not have otherwise been aware of. It was work that needed to be done to avoid any further damage, inability to sell at a later time or saving my family the burden of dealing with it.

Seth did a wonderful job on our foundation inspection and was very attentive to my clients needs. Thank you Seth.

Terra Firma is a great company.
We live in Brookings Oregon and it took a little while to schedule what we needed done.
Kara in customer service project manager kept me informed month-to-month when scheduling would be done.

They showed up on time very professional great attitude work ethics and clean up I would highly recommend this company to anyone that has any foundation needs of any sort.

We had two companies come and provide evaluations of our foundation repair needs. TerraFirma was by far the most professional and responsive company. In the end we did not go with the lowest bid but we did go with the company that provided the most professional response and gave use the most confidence it would be done right. We were not disappointed 🙂
