THE SMARTJACK SYSTEM stabilizes crawl space beams and floor joists. It’s the ideal solution to lift the floors above the crawl space toward their original elevation and reduce floor “bounce” caused by weakened floor joists or excessive spans. The SmartJack system addresses weak foundation soils by creating a solid base of engineered fill to distribute the weight of the home. Galvanized steel columns are cut to length, set on a cast aluminum footing and secured to existing girders or supplemental beams with adjustable top brackets. Heavy-duty threaded rods allow for adjustment and can even lift sagging and sloping floors.

  • Provides a permanent solution to undersized beams, rotting, shifting and settling wooden posts
  • Installed by attached steel support beams to your floor joists and a sturdy base at the floor. Once all posts are installed, they are adjusted to raise your floors to a level position.
  • Installs in limited-access areas and its the only crawl space support jack that addresses problem soils

Last winter we noticed some standing water under the house. Not serious or due to some foundation issues, just significant groundwater saturation. At the time, the sales person spent a few hours mapping out some options for us.Last week we moved ahead with the inside foundation drains and sump pump. The team were on time, the project manager was helpful in walking me through all the steps and they worked hard to mitigate any dust issues.This stuff is never going to be inexpensive, but they did what they said they were going to do and left the inside of our house like they found it. How much does foundation repair cost?

How do I repair crumbling basement walls?
