Mark came on behalf of the company to give me an estimate of the work on my crawl space. He was honest and straight about all the observations he had. He gave me some ideas of how to reduce the cost , even part of the job I could do by myself based on his guidelines.

Terra firma came out to my house to give me an estimate. But never got it and never heard back. This happens a lot with companies when they're just too busy they will ghost you. going with another company.

We had a great experience with Terra Firma. The quality of their work is absolutely top notch. They really know their stuff. Travis stopped by several times after work to check on our foundation, to make sure it was not getting worse while we waited for our scheduled day. Luis J, Tony, and Gustavo M did the work and they did a fantastic job. Even better, they installed a new vapor barrier free of charge, completely unprompted. Very satisfied.

Edit review: I have used this company in the past and will do so in the future. I had a poor experience with scheduling (largely attributed to the Microsoft outage) and a surprise quote adjustment on the day of install.However, after working with the management team, a remedy and resolution was reached that left me feeling this was an unfortunate exception to their general high-quality service and standards.4/5 stars due to some bumps in the road but they ultimately made it right.

The Crew was great to work with, Region Supervisor did a great job, The lady on the phone was knowledgeable on the job process and has great communication style. The job turned out just has they described, we had our crawl space waterproof.

The work was done in two days. The problems with the very heavy concrete problems was addressed, and it does look much better which is appreciated. Jeramie was good, worked so hard. Jason did the review before it all started, very easy to work with. It does look much better, it was worth the expensive costs. Thank you!

Had an amazing experience with Marcus during our annual service. Marcus showed up a couple minutes earlier than the appointment time which was so appreciated. He was engaging, thoughtful and ready to get down to work. He did his thing and showed me pictures of the before/after and walked me through all that was done. He was great to work with and hope we will work with him again.

We had a very good experience with Seth Cunningham. He actually did go into the crawl space and really inspected the whole space; 5 starts for Seth.

I recently purchased a home that I knew had water encroachment in the basement. Terra Firma came and presented what can be done and I knew it had to be done. Tieran and his crew came in and did exactly what was explained to me. They answered all my questions and I feel very confident it will be a dry basement going forward. Seth came out and was very professional and personable. He did a great job sharing your product with us. We could tell he was knowledgeable about your product. We also could tell he enjoyed his job.

Our 50's ranch sits on solid sandstone, and we've always had ground water running underneath and puddling, making the house damp and keeping us chasing mold and mildew. We figured there wasn't much we could do. But last spring during heavy rains, the old positive flow drain at the bottom of our large crawlspace collapsed and allowed three feet of water to accumulate, destroying the water heater and missing the suspended furnace by a half an inch. We stuck a temporary sump pump down there but it ran constantly and we were afraid to go away even for a few days. A brief power outage would have us biting our nails wondering if the crawlspace would fill up again. Finally we called TerraFirma. The house has a weird layout with odd additions here and there, but they came up with a plan to capture as much ground water as possible and route it to a three-way backup sump pump system. The team arrived and in one day had the drains and sump pit dug (out of solid sandstone, yet!) and the pump system installed. The crew was fast, polite and efficient. They even pointed out a plumbing leak I didn't know about that wasn't helping the situation at all! Now, for the first time in thirteen years, the crawlspace is dry--really dry, no more puddles, no more mold, the house is so much more pleasant, and we don't have to worry about going away or power outs. And if and when we decide to sell the house, we can assure potential buyers that they won't have to worry about dampness or flooding. The service plan is transferrable, which is even better. We were very impressed with TerraFirma and would recommend them for hard-to-solve water issues.Update September 2020: Went to refi the house and the TerraFirma treatment was a big plus for us!

Andrew and his crew were awesome! Kept me informed every step of the way, were very friendly and very enjoyable to work with! Brought to my attention issues they discovered under my house... plumbing, heat ducts, dryer vent... so I could get things fixed up! {I am not able to go under there myself... so the information and pictures were much appreciated!} They were right on time each day of the project and with their great work, were able to get the project completed early! Terra Firma leveled an aggregate surface walkway for us. There was a mixup about dates, so we weren't home and one of our cars was somewhat in the way. With our approval, they did the work in our absence and protected the car. And it all came out great!

We called TerraFirma with a pretty significant problem. We had just purchased a home and were a bit misled on a couple of items. The basement and crawlspace were mold infested (which we did know). What we did not know was that at times of the year, there would be some standing water in the crawlspace. We also didn't know that the drain from the sump pump was actually underwater (adjacent lake), nor did we know the pool backflushed into that same line and actually would enter the crawlspace whenever that process occured. The crawlspace was unvented and unconditioned....the perfect storm of BAD! Our goal was to first remediate the mold and then resolve the issues that allowed the mold to grow in the first place. Enter Terra Firma. Tulane and Terra Firma stood head and shoulders above every other company I spoke with. It wasn't jus that they were going to fix it- we literally walked through every step and every product-I knew what I was buying before we started. The crew was professional, on time and did exactly what they said they would do and in the time frame promised. With Terra Firma, we waterproofed and encapsulated our crawlspace, we insulated the crawlspace, we installed new sub floor drainage with new sump pumps with battery backup to lower the water table under the house (that now drains above the high water line), we installed new structural floor posts where others had rotted, we installed a bypass for the pool overflow and we installed dehumidification and we are in the process of now conditioning the space. Terra Firma led the way and did an excellent job both on the communication and on the installation (at the price originally quoted!). I would highly recommend this firm for anyone with complex and challenging crawlspace issues. Great work and fantastic team from start to finish!Bruce McKee

Since the pandemic, my experiences with contractors has been mediocre at best. They cost more and do not do as good of a job. Generally they send poorly trained or overly busy employees . So it was very refreshing to have Schylar P. with TerraFirma come out and do such great work. Imagine having a contractor show up on time, being knowledgeable, and doing the work as promised in the timeframe given.

Oscar and his team were on-time, professional, communicative, and efficient. The crew did an excellent job of conducting the work and maintaining an organized worksite. Oscar walked the job with me at the start and end of each day (as well as intermittently as needed) to make sure I understood issues and could participate in solutions where necessary. The crew closed-up the job site at the end of each day in a professional manner. They even had to work through a 'bomb cyclone' in a coastal environment and made it look like 'just another Thursday' - Bravo!

TF crew did a fantastic job despite a misunderstanding about a small area by the front door that was excluded in the proposal. We are extremely pleased with the results. Obviously, we need to evaluate the results during and after this winter, i.e., when the flooding is likely to occur.
