This is a look at a comprehensive waterproofing project in southeast Portland. The complete solution contained a water-level warning system, a trench drain system, basement drainage system around the perimeter, a sump pump and a waterproof wall covering. Talk about a total and complete waterproofing system. The goal list was achieved through efficient collecting of the water and removal by one of the best sump pump systems in the industry.

Sump preparation

The sump pump is placed at the lowest point in the basement for natural drainage. All that is left here is to cement and look beautiful again.

Trench drain

This location is at the front of the garage. With a sloped driveway leading towards that garage, chances are this trench drain portion will re-route the most quantity of water. The important part to note is that every side and angle is protected.
