Cracked and Settled Sidewalk Repaired with PolyLevel in the Queen Anne Neighborhood of Seattle
Cracked Sidewalk Repair in the Queen Anne area of Seattle
Well known for being extremely walkable ith its stunning views of the Seattle skyline and Puget Sound, it’s no wonder homes in Queen Anne neighborhood are highly sought after. The area is filled with beautiful historic homes, parks, and local businesses. However, a potential drawback for prospective homeowners in Queen Anne is the hilly terrain, which may not be ideal for everyone.
Maintaining curb appeal and safety around the home is key for homeowners here. Even minor disrepair can detract from a property’s curb appeal and uneven sidewalks present a safety hazard.
Here’s how we lifted and leveled this Queen Anne home’s cracked and lifting sidewalks – at a fraction of the cost of replacing them.
The entire process – from application to cleanup – was complete in under 4 hours.
1. Drill Holes
Small holes (typically 5/8-inch) are drilled strategically into the sunken concrete slab. Special injection ports are inserted in these holes, allowing foam injection under the slabs.
2. Inject PolyLevel®
PolyLevel®, our high-density, expanding polyurethane foam is injected under the slab through the ports. The foam fills voids and lifts the slab back to its original level.
3. Patch with Cement
After about 15-30 minutes, the PolyLevel® foam has expanded and cured. The injection ports are removed, and the holes are patched with cement.
4. Seal Joints with NexusPro
Caulk & Seal joints and cracks with NexusPro’s UV-resistant, silicone-based sealant. NexusPro Cures in just 60 minutes!

Concrete walkways and sidewalks are exposed to a lot of wear and tear and when the soil supporting the concrete weakens, the concrete can crack and sink. With TerraFirma Concrete Leveling, including PolyLevel® and Nexus Pro, there’s almost no waiting for the concrete to cure before being able to walk on it.
