I called Terra Firma, very concerned about slab settling and movement away from foundation walls that I recently found when removing 30 year old carpeting in our house. With short notice, Tyler Landon came out, took detailed elevation measurements inside and outside the house, examined both for signs of settling, and evaluated subgrade settling. Tyler was very knowledgeable. Hillary did a wonderful job coordinating everybody. Dan Billick then worked his magic, raising the main slab, and injecting a matrix of PolyFill throughout the lower level. Dan was experienced in foundation repairs where the slab was poured over compacted sand (coastal construction). He was very careful not to affect our sub-slab Radon system too. Dan was supremely competent, a great communicator, and a pleasure to work with (and he left the house even cleaner than when he found it 🙂 Dan ROCKS – Thank You Dan! I had a positive experience with vapor barrier application to my basement walls, a draining system install that wraps around the basement walls, installation of a sump pump, foundation crack repair, sealing/ vapor barrier install in a crawlspace.

Astonishing. Clearly knowledgeable, didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need -- to the point of selling nothing but nevertheless spending many minutes walking around, inspecting thoroughly, and teaching me a ton. Five stars aren't enough. We had a sizable project on an old house in tight quarters with neighbors who were concerned. We knew going into our project that there was going to be a lot of guesswork in the planning, and that whomever we hired for the project would have to make changes on the fly. The planning team was very clear about what they knew, and what they were inferring based on their experience and what they might discover when they started excavating. They presented us with us a few different proposals with breakdowns of the cost and a list of the pros and cons of every plan, answering all of our questions before we finalized our choice. The whole team at Terra Firma was incredible throughout; clear, consistent communication about the progress on the project and how it evolved as the plans encountered reality. It was a job well done with consistent care and extra effort. Whether it was the on-site team or the office staff supporting the project, everyone was a genuine pleasure to work with.

Great work. I had huge foundation issues on a large waterfront project. Terra firma waterproofed my basement and lifted the house on hydolic piers to level it out. They saved my project. Seth was a fantastic project manager and Oscar and Jorge completed the job extremely well. 10/10 would recommend for any foundation issues.

Being my first home, I went into it knowing my foundation would need extra care. The TerraFirma team was amazing and very personable. I mean everyone to included, customer service when you call for an appointment, to the initial inspection, and Shea calling to make the appointment. I had an amazing crew. Brad, my job foreman, communicated throughout the process and problem solved a couple issues with me. His crew worked hard and shared their perspectives as the job progressed. We started with a 4 inch slope and we were able to lift quite a bit. Brad and his crew discussed possible impact on the roof, windows, French doors, and concrete foundation of the garage. They did a great job and addressed issues as they came up. They did additional stabilization where needed and hauled away some concrete. They were awesome. I would work with them again. I give them 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Schylar, the foam foreman, was able to come in the next day and fill the gap created under the porch with foam, as well as bring my sidewalk up to meet the porch and level it with the sidewalk. Schyler was great to work with as well. I am disappointed in the sales technician that evaluated the job. He failed to notice that one side of the front porch was sitting on the foundation and how the porch was going to be affected by the lift. He also failed to notice or consider that I have a flat roof in the center of my home, surrounded on three sides by a peaked roof. This matters because the lift puts pressure upward that would typically carry over to the opposite foundation. This was not shared with me during the sales process. In my case, this pressure comes down where the peaked roof meets the flat roof which is on an interior wall. There is also the possibility that lifting one side of the foundation can cause the opposite side to need stabilization as well. This was not shared during the sales process. I give the sales technician one star ⭐️. When I shared these concerns with David, the field supervisor , I was left with the impression that it is just the way they do business.

Terrafirma repaired my sunken foundation, lifting the foundation back to where it should be. It is something that I thought couldn't be done but they did it. They are experts at what they do. I could not be happier.

I've had multiple interactions and services (including sump pump installation) done by TerraFirma, all good experiences. However our last service which was an inspection of our foundation was exceptional and warranted me to write a review. Our systems design specialist Tanner Heinz who came out was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and respectful to our home. We felt like he wasn't trying to oversell, just telling us straight facts and honest opinion. We trust our home is in good hands and came up with a game plan. If I owned a business we'd be lucky to have Tanner as an employee. Highly recommend this company.
