We had a great experience with Terra Firma. The quality of their work is absolutely top notch. They really know their stuff. Travis stopped by several times after work to check on our foundation, to make sure it was not getting worse while we waited for our scheduled day. Luis J, Tony, and Gustavo M did the work and they did a fantastic job. Even better, they installed a new vapor barrier free of charge, completely unprompted. Very satisfied.

The crew that stabilized the back corner of my house was experienced, professional, efficient and communicative. Luke, Tyson and Kyle kept me informed on their progress, discussed recommended changes to the original work order, reviewed the results of their work and left the site clean.

The crew finished up the planned three day project of supporting the pole barn foundation on the 30 foot long side that was starting to slip down a 15 percent hillside. Fortunately I noticed the slippage early in the process to save having to do a whole lot more to repair it or pay 10’s of thousand of dollars demolishing the building as a total loss! By luck, I contacted TerraFirma which is 100 miles away! Their rep Austin did the initial assessment and once accepted with the help of Sammy the Project Coordinator, their site assessment guy Joel came out and then the engineering assessment was done and the County permitting process was started. Within a short time the project was approved and the job plan was set and accomplished exactly as anticipated! The technology of their six foundation supports is outstanding and once they hit rock, about 2 1/2 feet down, they go an additional 6 feet! Also, the 6 inch angle iron running the entire length of the foundation makes absolutely sure nothing can go awry. The crew of Samuel, Arturo and Oscar G were terrific and stayed in the local area so they were well-rested for the work in 100F conditions! Every day the crew updated us on their progress and spent the time to answer questions and explain what they were doing. Among many expert work habits was their careful use of the huge equipment including backing their 30 foot trailer down a long twisting 200 foot long driveway! Thanks TerraFirma, can’t thank you enough!

My whole experience with TerraFirma was first rate. Travis came out, accessed our needs, and gave us a through explanation and fair price. Carolyn took care of all my questions and needs as a customer … 100%. Moe and Sergio did the “dirty work”. Not the whole story. Moe and I were chatting after they had finished the job. Long story short, TerraFirma takes care of their employees. They not only accommodate their employee’s personal needs, but also work hard to foster a team environment. Carolyn commutes from NE Portland to TerraFima’s office in Tigard. You have to love your job and company to do that. And TerraFirma is an Oregon company.
