My house in Roseburg had sunk in two directions. They did exactly what the contract called for: the warranty can't be beat. (75 years!) Gave me the original documents of all the engineering and county permits. Very professional and pleasant, explained everything as they worked, left the place immaculate, even cleaned things like the driveway and replaced rock on a path that had been walked on. Seth is great! Very professional and showed us that he cared about all the issues we are having with our foundation. I haven’t used the word “perfectionist” in years, because too often it’s more like, “it’s okay” or “it’s fine”. But I can honestly say that, Dan B. is a perfectionist, with his attention to detail, considering this was very tedious work. He was also exceptionally nice to speak with and timely, considering weather etc.. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Dan back for any future needs.

Our problem was that our front yard had settled, taking parts of our huge concrete front porch and sidewalk down with it. We watched the cracks in the porch get wider every year, and the sidewalk sloped down and away from the house. TerraFirma evaluated our situation and explained what was happening around our house. When I bought my home the previous owners had hidden a serious foundation issue and left my family to cover the cost of repair. It wasn’t caught in the inspection report. I saved for the cost to repair the foundation and contacted Terra Firma. We chose Terra Firma over competition due to the long warranty and their guarantee of their work. I knew it would be done right and the foundation repairs would be over. They set aside two days for work and finished in one. They were respectful of our property, handling our yard and new fence with care. We expected some of our plants would be harmed (which wouldn’t be their fault due to the heavy machinery required). Not at all, there was no damage to any plant life in our yard. They cleaned up and we could barely tell the crew had been there after they left. They knew just how far to push the foundation jack and raised the foundation about 3/4 of an inch which was more than I expected. Overall we’re really pleased with the service and it is a relief to be done with such a large home repair. The next home owner won’t be burdened with the cost and surprise of repairing the foundation and they will have the warranty which is a selling point for our home. Everyone in the process was helpful, kind and easy to work with.
