Just had my crawl space inspected by TerraFirma and was very impressed! Mark Spandler was their representative that did the inspection. He was very courteous, professional and thorough. I was an engineer back in my day, and Mark really seemed to know his stuff. I would hire TF again, especially if I could request Mark

(Lacey, WA) Bailey came out to check on a crack in our foundation. He wore a mask and was super polite. He ended up not finding anything that we should worry about. I know many companies who love to find anything they can charge you for, and Terra Firms didn't do that at all. Super happy and relieved that they're a respectable and efficient company. I know I would recommend them in the future.

***Please note -- I updated my review from 1 to 5 stars. Terra Firma took the initiative to reach out and assess any next steps needed to correct the problem. Trust is 100% restored knowing that if problems come up they will take any action needed to follow up. I will also say that the work they originally did was actually to code, and we agreed that the moisture problems arose due to the nonstandard setup of my dehumidifier, NOT because of errors in Terra Firma's work. Thank you Terra Firma.*** Unfortunately, I have to drop a negative review in the interest of warning other folks that their work has gone downhill. I previously had an excellent experience with Terra Firma for management of a water problem in my crawlspace. I hired them without question again for my current property for management of moisture issues, and I didn't check their work upon completion as thoroughly as I should have. Unfortunately, about 1 - 2 months after completion of work, I discovered a large mushroom growing out of one of the structural posts in my crawl/basement. On closer inspection, I noticed that the dehumidifier water discharge line they installed was dumping less than a foot away from my foundation, corresponding to the exact spot the mushroom was growing. Moisture was the exact problem they were supposed to fix, but now they have created a severe structural problem secondary to moisture with the dehumidifier line dumping large quantities of water right next to my foundation. In other words, they created the exact issue they were purporting to fix by collecting the moisture and depositing it into my foundation. Once fruiting bodies are growing out of wood, this is an indicator that the wood is severely compromised and the fungus network has grown extensively. I now have a very expensive and serious problem to fix. I called to let them know about the problem, not sure if I will hear back from the coordinator/ the team who did the work. I am not sure if I would trust them to fix the issue after the damage they have caused, but I would accept financial remediation. If they take steps to make things right, I would update my review. I would not hire Terra Firma again for any crawlspace work, be it structural or moisture related because of the big problem they have caused. Again, just would like to warn others.

Fantastic crew to work with. Very kind and helpful. Attention to detail and quick at completing project in a timely manner. All involved deserve a raise. We are very happy and impressed with the work done by Nate, Raymond, Fernando, and Jonathan. Bobbie, Katie and Ashley were also very helpful over the phone with getting the project set up. The crew showed up on time and ready to go to work. They all introduced themselves to me and walked through the project. They answered all my questions. The project could not have gone any smoother. This is our 2nd time to use Terra Firma and we can't recommend them highly enough. They had lifted our sunken front porch and driveway a few years ago. So when we were having bad odors and mice infestation in our crawl space we didn't hesitate to call Terra Firma. They sent the best design specialist Derek Ryan and the best crew ever to encapsulate it! Such hard-working, professional, respectful young men. Foreman Luis kept us informed and answered all questions. Actually all of them could knowledgeably answer our questions. It took them all week and Brad, Jorge and Jose. They worked their tails off! We couldn't be more pleased.

We had a complex problem with a small section of our front sidewalk upon which our front steps rest, and in which our front gate is embedded. Over a few years, that section of sidewalk sagged down and to the side due to erosion issues, which in turn caused our steps to sag. Ken and Robert from TerraFirma did an incredible job resolving the problem. They listened and planned an approach carefully, explained the approach with its challenges and risks, and then left the decision to me. Step by step they did an amazing job resolving a complex and challenging task. They were always easy to talk to, friendly, honest, and professional.

TerraFirma has been great to work with overall on a big basement water problem I've been dealing with. Big thanks to Antonio R. and Gael O. for their work today - they were great!
