I don’t usually do reviews but in this case people should know this is a first class company. Great communications and no selling you on something you don’t need. John was very professional, he spent time with us expanding what issues he did find, measured the level of the floors, inspected under the house and checked wall and foundation cracks. He also placed a blanket down to collect any dirt from entering and exiting the crawl space inside the house. I highly recommend John from the Eugene office and TerraFirma.

Skylar did a great job saving our concrete deck that was cracking. It feels much more stable. He explained the process and got it done. Left the area spotless

Very good experience from day 1. They ended up not needing one of the permits or a window brace like originally planned, of which both items were credited back to me. The installation crew was professional, efficient, and more than tolerant explaining all the little details of what they were doing while I watched the process. I really like that they live streamed their engineers the entire time for QC, and even had a third party review inspection. I chose TerraFirma over 3 other companies for the warranty terms and for them being a long established Oregon local business, and I am very happy with their work and crew. I hope to not have any future structural repairs done but if I do, I will 1000% hire them again. Thanks!

Mr. Stanford did a thorough inspection of our crawlspace and gave us the honest opinion that very little needed to be addressed. He was very professional and clearly very experienced. This was after a competitor came out and tried to convince us we needed an $18,000 encapsulation.

We had Tyler from TerraFirma come out to bid fixing a standing water issue in our crawlspace. He was thorough (crawled the entire crawlspace), knowledgeable and responsive to questions. As a real estate agent having access to good contractors is vital, and his professionalism has placed TerraFirma solidly on our short list.

Tyler came out and did a great job of thoroughly going through the house and taking measurements and pictures to document what need attention. He walked me through options and gave his recommendations. While I had other bids, he kept in contact and checked in to see if I needed anything else. He did a great job working with my unique situation, never pressuring me to go in any other direction then what I comfortable with. Then Victoria was great is getting everything set-up and connecting me to the crew that would be out to work on the project. They were there promptly the day as scheduled, which I appreciated. They did a great job of walking me through the process and explaining everything that needed to be done while I was working. They were fast and communicated clearly throughout the process and made sure I was there when they finished up. They cleaned up better then I expected considering they had to dig up a lot of soil and replaced the fence without it even looking like it was moved. I was able to get back the 1/2 an inch or so back from the chimney moving away from the house, so I was very happy about that! I would highly recommend them again and if I need the house foundatio repaired, would definitely call them back. Time will tell if everything stays where it is, but so far it's been a wonderful experience. They were competitively priced but seemed like they wanted my business more then the others and made me feel valued.

I had a few jacks placed under the house after noticing structural changes in my home. The team that came to do the repairs worked so well together, didn’t make a mess and were very professional. We worked with TerraFirma on a complex project involving installation of their EverBrace wall stabilization system. The project took a lot of planning and communication leading up to installation, plus a 3-week on-site job. Everyone I interacted with at TerraFirma was warm, communicative, respectful, helpful, and creative in solving any issues that arose. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience. Our project was expensive, and a stressful endeavor for a homeowner, but I felt I was in good hands from start to finish with TerraFirma. If you hire this company to put sump pumps in your basement, make sure you know exactly where they are going to put them and where the pipes that will pump the water outside will be coming out of your house. Even though one guy gives you a diagram ahead of time, that doesn’t mean the guy actually doing the work follows it. One sump pump was put in our basement just as we expected. The second one was not. We provided new electrical outlets dedicated for use to the sump pumps. The second pump now has cords hanging in mid air barely reaching the new plugs because that pump was not put where they told us it would be. Also, the pipes that take the water away from the house, we expected those to go through the foundation, not through the expensive cedar siding and be exposed on the front of our house! I was horrified to see those holes and said so. My husband redirected them to drill through the foundation so the pipes could not be seen once the work was done. They did that, but now we are left with holes to repair. They did not offer to repair them. The young men who did the work were kind and respectful and did what they thought were expected of them, but if you hire this company, make sure you know exactly where they are going to put everything and not assume anything even if you have a diagram!

The crew showed up right as scheduled. The foundation work itself was completed in two days. Inspection and clean up occurred on the morning of the third day. I highly recommend Terra Firma.

TerraFirma Foundation Systems is excellent at basement waterproofing. Be sure to ask about all the available options so you can choose the one that’s right for you. The company is very capable, but it’s important to do your research before making a decision. The crew—Antonio, Jessi, and Casey—worked extremely well together. Antonio is especially sharp; whenever I suggested an idea, he immediately understood what I meant and offered an even better solution on the spot.

These guys were great! Aris, Rom and Scotty showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves and communicated well during the project.

Bailey Mercer came out on time, which is the number one indicator of professionalism in my experience. He kept the conversation short and to the point. He did not try to upsell me on things didn’t need, and to that point, neither did the sales staff over the phone. Bailey did the measurements, with precision and finished at a reasonable time. I have confidence that when we decide to secure our foundation we will be using Bailey Mercer as our go-to expert when we call TerraFirma.

James and his crew were efficient, kind, and exceeded my expectations. My foundation was needed piers both outside and in the basement, yet they were quick and cleaned up. I even noticed a change in my home’s interior when it was fixed! Cracks closed up. They took care of the whole process, including permits and inspections. And, James communicated, including walking me through, clearly listening to my responses. I recommend TerraFirma, especially James who was the foreman on my job, especially to those who want to be respected, want to understand what is happening, and want good communication throughout the job.

Pat was so good not only at his job, but is an extremely personable type of communicator, is polite and most of all knowledgeable. I’d say he is going places with this company! It is hard to find adequate people these days, let alone someone who is capable of carrying on an educated and informed conversation while listening to my questions and concerns , then actually (past 5 pm on over-time) taking the time to explain them. He was patient and kind to both me and my young daughter. I appreciated his honesty about working with connected buildings, even if it risked new business for his company. If he isn’t already a manager, he soon will be! If you call Terra Firma i’d suggest asking for Par and if Pat works for you, I’d suggest a raise next review!! lol

Had Walt come out to Corvallis to assess our concrete slab foundation and he was very knowledgeable of everything he observed surrounding the home's foundation. He took time to understand our concerns and provided us with his solution to our problem. We ended up having a structural engineer come out to asses our home and get his recommendation on if the work was needed. Although we ended up not needing to have the work done, the structural engineer said that Walt's estimate on the work needed to fix the problem was correct and if our house truly needed it, then he would have recommended the exact same work be done. In the future, if we have any other concrete/foundation projects around the property, we will definitely be calling Walt again.

We had a great experience with TerraFirma. The crew that waterproofed our basement were Aris, Manuel, and Cristian, and they were super pro and cleaned up everyday after work. This crew was just great, they were friendly and worked hard every day. Give these guys a raise!

It took awhile to schedule due to them not having enough employees to cover Oregon and Washington. We had this done 10 yrs ago by them to the part that needed it and back then they didn’t tell us that the rest of the house could shift. I wish back then they could’ve put the piers all around the house so all they would have to do is just adjusted it because this time around the expense to do the whole house was something we didn’t expect and opted to do the part that really needed it the most. When we do sell our home, this will be something that we will have to disclose.

The crew that stabilized the back corner of my house was experienced, professional, efficient and communicative. Luke, Tyson and Kyle kept me informed on their progress, discussed recommended changes to the original work order, reviewed the results of their work and left the site clean.

They make it all easy. Not just good work, they have great process. I do recommend this group of people highly.
