I had Terra Firma Foundation Systems encapsulate my crawlspace. It turned out great. Crew was outstanding. 2 years later I had them do routine maintenance. On 3/11/22 Stevo Clay and another gentleman did an great job fixing a spot in which tape was missing and allowing water to come through. Stevo also moved the dehumidifier to a better position for drainage. They also checked that the sump pump worked by running a hose into the sump. Overall, they were respectful of property.

I’m a renter and my landlord had Terrafirma send Stevo Clay out to help diagnose a loud vibration noise coming from the basement that reverberated though the hvac ducts. He quickly figured out the problem, got approval and changed out the parts so now everything is running quietly. He even insulated/separated the ductwork to minimize any potential noise, and recognized and replaced a faulty sensor that wasn’t part of the dying pump. He was super nice and explained what was the issue, arrived right in the middle of the expected appointment window, and was so quiet he didn’t even wake up my sleeping toddler taking a nap right above where he was working. I definitely would recommend Stevo and Terrafirma for anyone with a basement that might need some TLC.

My pest inspector found a lot of water in my crawl space after a routine inspection. A plumber found no leaks and believed it to be ground water. TerraFirma responded to my needs promptly and ended up digging a ditch around the inside perimeter of my crawl space, inserted pipe and covered with river rock for drainage. A sump pump was installed inside to drain outside. They took such care with the drain they dug outside that when they were finished you could hardly tell where they had dug the ditch. They took such care to protect my home - especially since the crawl space access was inside my home. They protected my floors and walls very carefully and completely - even with having to bring in numerous wheelbarrows of rock. They also cleaned up both inside and outside my home so you couldn't tell anyone had worked all day to completed this large job. They did an amazing job!!! Terra Firma recently completed a foundation lift involving 18 push piers and 3 helical. My home is situated on the Columbia River with a sloping hillside down to the river. I couldn’t be more pleased with the end result, all completed as proposed in the original estimate and time frame! Great experience with them. Worked with Jonathan on what was needed to stabilize our garage. The crew of Nate, Tyler, and Fernando were great! The project was completed when they said it would be and they left the workspace cleaner than when they started. Through the entire process everything was explained really well and they went out pf their way to make sure I understood what the plan was and why the needed to be that way. It was very reassuring.

I was pleased with the work of the technician, Schylar. He arrived on time, explained the process, answered my questions, completed the work and conducted a final review with me. He was able to level out a slab floor on an outbuilding with excellent results. Schylar also did a thorough job cleaning up at the end. Scheduler Jonah promptly contacted me with the work dates and coordinated with the plumber for related work. My OUTSTANDING team of workers with Jonathan (foreman), Nathan, Rom, Matt and Daniel worked tirelessly and efficiently and with cheerful and respectful attitudes. The process of stabilizing my foundation was done quickly and professionally. Permits and reports were provided upon completion. They were a pleasure to work with. The site visits were scheduled in advance and they were always there when scheduled. The final work was completed when scheduled and the site was cleaned up with minimal disturbance. If I had a question, they were always quick to explain the process. A pleasure to work with.

Quinten, the service technician, did an amazing job of servicing the pumps and the dehumidifier, he thoroughly inspected the encapsulation system as well. He is very knowledgeable about the whole system and answered my questions. He gave some options for 'shipshape' warning system as well as 'Aspen Air 'purifier' both of which I intend to move forward with. Your company is fortunate to have hired this quality of personnel. I am equally satisfied with the original encapsulation crew.

I needed to have 20 posts in my crawl space replaced and seismically upgraded. Bridget came out, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and set up the project. Tony, harley, sebastian, came and did the work. They could not have been more friendly and professional. The work was done quickly and skillfully. Very excited to have this project completed and done so well!

I love TerraFirma. We had a new foundation with a sump pump and dehumidifier four years ago. First, it is so great having a dry basement! Each year, TerraFirma sends someone to check the sump pump and the dehumidifier. Jeff did the inspection last year and this year. He showed me what he was doing, documented with pictures, answered my questions and showed up on time! This has been my experience with every interaction I have had from the beginning of the project to the follow-up. Here is a picture of the new foundational wall and my workout area.

Seth has made this process so streamlined and time efficient. I was concerned about my foundation issue, however he was able to assess the issue and present a viable solution with ease. He explained what had occurred and how to fix/ prevent such issues in the future in a way that left me informed and empowered to make informed decisions about going forward. He and his team has been prompt with communications and even sent photo updates of the work being complete, as I was out of town at the time. I really appreciated Seth going out of his way to make this the best experience possible, taking pride in his work and putting in the extra effort.

Fast and easy quote, work was top notch and professional!

When we first bought our 1900s fixer upper, we had no idea what lurked behind the walls of the illegal basement apartment. Once we opened up the space we were in for quite the surprise. All the wooden post holding up the main beam of the house were rotted through at the base. You could stick a pencil through the old, soft wood. Working with TerraFirma to fix the issue was an easy choice. Eric came out to assess our problem. He was friendly and professional as he walked me through the process that was needed to fix our foundation. It wasn't going to be cheap. Don't expect this kind of work to be inexpensive (especially on older homes). We needed concrete to be cut, 2ft cubic footers poured, and six shiny new steel posts. (And while they were coming out anyway, we had them do seismic retrofitting too). There's all kinds of math and engineering that goes into determining what's needed to structurally support a home. TerraFirma handles it all. And they are experienced enough to know what it's going to cost. One of the best parts of working with them (besides the friendly employees and professional workers) is that the price they quote you is going to be the price. Full stop. There are no unexpected add ons at the end. I can sleep well at night knowing TerraFirma's work is holding up our home. A few months later when the rains started in earnest and our basement flooded (an issue we guessed had been going on for a while, hidden by those illegal apartment walls and leading to the rotting of the old wood posts) we knew who to call. Eric came out again to look at options for a sump pump system and even worked on adjusting those plans (while he was on winter vacation with his family!!) when we discovered that a third wall was seeping water and we needed a much larger amount of fixing than originally thought. We no longer have to worry during downpours. While our old fixer upper still needs a lot of work and love, we know that we are (literally) starting from a strong, solid foundation thanks to TerraFirma.

Seth was knowledgeable, very experienced and the price was extremely reasonable. I had plenty of options to choose from. I also met with the competition and it felt like they were recruiting high schoolers to do their estimates.
