Really good experience, wasn't quite able to get a portion as level as we had hoped. But, did a good job and much improved for the rest of the job. Workers were informative, friendly, and helpful. They cleaned up really well. Did have a water pipe start leaking, but was told previously that it was possible.

Sam and his crew that worked on our house were incredible. Everyone was professional from start to finish and very easy to talk to. They were on time, finished in the time they said they would and they cleaned up after themselves. I have already recommended that my grandpa use Terra Firma for a project that he has to do on his house.

We had TerraFirma out to work on our foundation six months ago and were very pleased with the experience. We had a pretty big project on a home built in 1900 and the company worked with us to divide it into phases so it wasn't so financially overwhelming. Phase 1 included crawl space encapsulation, replacing old wood columns with smart jacks, carbon fiber stitching cracks, installing a dehumidifier and a sump pump with drainage line. After starting the work they realized some components that had been in the contract weren't needed and they quickly had me sign an addendum that would lower the cost of the project. James Taylor, the lead was great to work with, always explaining their plans for the day, progress they had made and ensuring that we were pleased with the work. The crew was right on time every day for two weeks. They were clean and courteous. They were set to finish a day early but found some water entering the basement while they were wrapping up. James called his supervisor and they set to work installing a section of drainage system that was unplanned. They did this at no additional cost because they said that is what they were hired to do and it was the right thing to do. I was shocked by this because it is hard to find a company and crew off workers that will stand by their work like that. Terra Firma might be more expensive than other quotes you get but it was the first time I have felt that a company genuinely cared about the quality of their work and they treated my home with respect. James and his crew (Byron, Alex, and Jake) went way above and beyond to make our basement a better and more useable place. They certainly could have just done the minimum that was agreed upon but they didn't and they will get my business for any future needs because of it. Our unfinished basement and crawlspace is now clean, comfortable and dry. The work was transformative. I highly recommend this company.

I’m a renter and my landlord had Terrafirma send Stevo Clay out to help diagnose a loud vibration noise coming from the basement that reverberated though the hvac ducts. He quickly figured out the problem, got approval and changed out the parts so now everything is running quietly. He even insulated/separated the ductwork to minimize any potential noise, and recognized and replaced a faulty sensor that wasn’t part of the dying pump. He was super nice and explained what was the issue, arrived right in the middle of the expected appointment window, and was so quiet he didn’t even wake up my sleeping toddler taking a nap right above where he was working. I definitely would recommend Stevo and Terrafirma for anyone with a basement that might need some TLC.

TerraFirma was great from start to finish. When we submitted a services request for the work we needed, several companies initially responded, but then once we spoke to them all but one disappeared. We met with Tulane from TerraFirma and he was kind and professional, answered all of our questions, and gave thorough answers - always ensuring we understood what he had just explained. After deciding to have TerraFirma do the work our project manager Bree was helpful and responsive and worked with us when we had to change dates a few times due to personal work conflicts. Then on day one we met with Kelly, one of TerraFirma's crew bosses. We walked through everything, he lined out what they would likely do each day, and off they went getting the job done. At the end of each, Kelly checked in with what had been done and what was planned for the next day. The crew were all respectful and polite. They finished on time and the work was great! Kelly walked through all the things they did and what we would need to do to keep up with maintenance and monitoring and when to call them for help. I even had some other contractors come in for other work after TerraFirma had finished and they complimented the work they had done. Can't say enough good things about Tulane, Bree, Kelly, and all the folks at TerraFirma. Thanks again!

I hired TerraFirma to put an interior drain and sump pump in my Seattle basement after some flooding. When they pulled up the carpet to start work it became obvious that the problem was much bigger (roots running all through and cracking the foundation). The plan had to change entirely and the job got way bigger. Luckily, TerraFirma was with me the whole way. They owned the problem from end to end, figuring out how to get the new work done within a reasonable price and coordinating all of the various sub-contractors who were involved in removing and repouring my basement foundation. Ryan and his crew were always extremely polite, hard working, communicative and timely. It's not an experience I would ever want to go through again, but if I did, there isn't anyone else I would call.

Great experience with scheduled maintenance. While I did have to schedule a few months out, communication leading up to and on the day of the appointment was helpful without being annoying. Jeff, the technician, was prompt, friendly and professional. He explained the service and completed it thoroughly and efficiently, leaving the area as tidy as it was before the service call. When the job was complete, he reviewed the services he'd provided and gave me logical suggestions to keep in mind going forward without pressuring me to purchase anything additional. I'm very satisfied with the experience.

I recently requested an evaluation from Terra Firma for a vacation property, far from many resources, and where many companies will not work. Bailey came out, on time, prepared to do a full examination of the issue and give me a quote with options before even leaving the property. I was greatly surprised by the response. Bailey was extremely professional but also personal, and also educational. I wasn't even sure if we had an issue that needed attention in the near future. He helped me to understand the nature of the issues and the best steps forward to having a safer and better protected home. Terra Firma was also extremely patient as I did more research and confirmed the findings. We now have a plan for how to move forward. I would highly recommend Terra Firma both for their work, but also for how they care for their employees. They are not just looking for a job and money, but are truly looking to partner to make life better for all involved.

My encounters with TerraFirma have been great so far. During an initial "inspection"/quote for a few potential projects, they mentioned how their company had been born out of a desire to provide exceptional customer service where other companies in the field were not, and I feel it really shows. The information I was provided was well-explained and never felt like a sales pitch - simply information presented to allow me to make the decisions I needed to. It also came from someone who seemed like they had hands-on experience in the work, not just a representative in a uniform. I also received no "pestering" beyond this appointment, which I appreciated - I get that follow-up is a way that business try to hook new work, but the company I'd gotten a quote from two years prior still calls and emails me to this day, which gets annoying. That same company had also quoted me a price quite a bit higher for the same work, so despite someone commenting to me that TerraFirma was "the pricier option," their offer was a fantastic deal to me. I went ahead with scheduling the first project, crawlspace drainage and sump pump installation. The work was done well and cleanly, and communication throughout and after was great. I definitely plan to contact them again when I'm ready to tackle some higher-cost projects, and feel I don't need to bother with quotes from anyone else to know I'll be getting great work for a competitive price.
