Years ago heard of Terra Firma, seen them at various home shows. feeling pretty sure I would never need to seek their services. Garage floor began heaving this summer a shocking experience. After plumber ruled out any leaks or possible root intrusion I turned to TF. Field specialist Hanna arrived early for my free evaluation and stayed late. Sizing up the issue as drying out of expansive soils overtime causing the floor to buckle. She surveyed other home areas to monitor and presented the repair plan. Including cots, schedule and guarantees. Hanna is top notch in her field, thorough, knowledgeable and poised. The repairs start in Sept and Oct due to permit acquisition and scheduling. All expected to be completed in two days barring any other issues. Hanna represents TF very well giving us confidence the final outcome will be done to high standards.

Helical (push) piers were installed many years ago to level my house foundation from the back of the house. I was happy with the work until my house started sagging in the middle a year later. After posts were installed under the middle, TerraFirma was hired to put in four helical piers in the front foundation, and my home is now perfectly level. An associated plumbing issue was paid for by TerraFirma, and that is very appreciated.

After I bought a 115 year old house built partially into a hill near the top of Council Crest in Portland and discovered that the walls bled water when it rained, two walls were built into a hill and had endured the pressure of water and mud for a century, causing cracks and turning the foundation to crumbles, I called Terra Firma when an neighbor with an old house told me about her experience. Terra Firma has a great reputation. During the first meeting, Hannah walked the property and made a detailed proposal, explaining how Terra Firma would ensure that the walls do not cave in by shoring them up and anchoring them, supplemented with a vapor lock system to keep the water out of the house. NO MORE MUSTY SMELL, THANK YOU! Hannah explained the plan thoroughly, using her iPad to ensure that I understood. It could not get any better than this...I signed the paperwork immediately and contracted for the foundation repair and upgrade. This week, Geovany and his team spent four days working very hard and very smart to finish the project on time, and without any hitches. And they were working hard, very thoughgoing and steadfast. I am extraordinarily pleased with the work of the TerraFirma team, and how they did it. It is obvious by looking at the work that my basement walls are solid, secure, and dry. THANK YOU TerraFirma!

We had heard of Terra Firma's work before through word-of-mouth, and it had always been positive. When we called to schedule an appraisal/appointment, Travis Smith came out and spent time with us explaining how things could go. He was patient in answering our questions and never once made us feel as if we were being "sold" anything. He was both personable and professional, and given the stress of our home damage, it was reassuring and welcome. Jonah communicated well as Project Coordinator. When Taylor arrived to begin work, he, Oscar G., and Arturo were amazing! Again, they welcomed us to watch, ask questions, and always took time to interact with kindness and humor. As with Travis, they were all professional and personable. We can't express enough the gratitude we have for them and for Terra Firma in helping us navigate a devastating time in our lives. While it's an expensive job to rehab your foundation, most of this crew was super supportive and explained things well. They did a great job, even with a few hiccups which they recovered gracefully from. Well done and thank you!
