James and his crew were efficient, kind, and exceeded my expectations. My foundation was needed piers both outside and in the basement, yet they were quick and cleaned up. I even noticed a change in my home’s interior when it was fixed! Cracks closed up. They took care of the whole process, including permits and inspections. And, James communicated, including walking me through, clearly listening to my responses. I recommend TerraFirma, especially James who was the foreman on my job, especially to those who want to be respected, want to understand what is happening, and want good communication throughout the job.

In a word, Terra Firma was AWESOME! From the beginning to the end. Everyone involved, from the first visit by Tyler to the project coordinator, Jonah, to the crew that did the hard work of stabilizing my foundation, James the foreman, along with Oscar and Jayden. The engineering and permitting with the city were handled and I was informed all along the way. The crew showed up on the dot every day, was friendly, professional and respectful of the property. My property was restored to the condition they found it in with pressure washing and putting the deck back together. They also alerted me to problems with my plumbing that needed to be addressed that I would not have otherwise been aware of. It was work that needed to be done to avoid any further damage, inability to sell at a later time or saving my family the burden of dealing with it.

What a great experience. Ryan Bothman our Design specialist was such a big help guiding me through this stressful time. He explained everything to me so that I could understand exactly what I needed to do. He also recommended additional companies to help with my project as well. The experience went very smooth. My Project Manager Sammy kept me up to date with the timeline for my project and set my mind as ease. I want to thank Timothy & Kevin G. who were the Foremen on my project. They went above and beyond in protecting my home from dirt and debris on the numerous trips up and down into the crawlspace. Kevin and his team handled any concern I visited with him about with professionalism and kept me well informed throughout the project. I can't forget to mention Katie in the office. We were very pleased with the results of waterproofing our basement. James Taylor (foreman) and his crew (Byron Butler and Jonathon Heredia) did a great job! The communications and explanations that James provided were excellent, and the job even got done earlier than expected.

A crew from Terrafirma was out on June 23rd to fix some issues from our original install. Very professional, on time and did an amazing job of keeping us informed on the progress throughout the day. If we need any additional work completed we would definitely make sure we had James Taylor and Chris Raycraft for the job. Both James and Chris went above and beyond our expectations to make sure we were happy customers when they completed the work.

We had our house leveled, Jonah was the project manager, Roberto the foreman, James R. and Antonio J. They were very professional and had all the work done in four days, we even had a barbecue with them, with my homemade potato salad... After I bought a 115 year old house built partially into a hill near the top of Council Crest in Portland and discovered that the walls bled water when it rained, two walls were built into a hill and had endured the pressure of water and mud for a century, causing cracks and turning the foundation to crumbles, I called Terra Firma when an neighbor with an old house told me about her experience. Terra Firma has a great reputation. During the first meeting, Hannah walked the property and made a detailed proposal, explaining how Terra Firma would ensure that the walls do not cave in by shoring them up and anchoring them, supplemented with a vapor lock system to keep the water out of the house. NO MORE MUSTY SMELL, THANK YOU! Hannah explained the plan thoroughly, using her iPad to ensure that I understood. It could not get any better than this...I signed the paperwork immediately and contracted for the foundation repair and upgrade. This week, Geovany and his team spent four days working very hard and very smart to finish the project on time, and without any hitches. And they were working hard, very thoughgoing and steadfast. I am extraordinarily pleased with the work of the TerraFirma team, and how they did it. It is obvious by looking at the work that my basement walls are solid, secure, and dry. THANK YOU TerraFirma!

We had TerraFirma out to work on our foundation six months ago and were very pleased with the experience. We had a pretty big project on a home built in 1900 and the company worked with us to divide it into phases so it wasn't so financially overwhelming. Phase 1 included crawl space encapsulation, replacing old wood columns with smart jacks, carbon fiber stitching cracks, installing a dehumidifier and a sump pump with drainage line. After starting the work they realized some components that had been in the contract weren't needed and they quickly had me sign an addendum that would lower the cost of the project. James Taylor, the lead was great to work with, always explaining their plans for the day, progress they had made and ensuring that we were pleased with the work. The crew was right on time every day for two weeks. They were clean and courteous. They were set to finish a day early but found some water entering the basement while they were wrapping up. James called his supervisor and they set to work installing a section of drainage system that was unplanned. They did this at no additional cost because they said that is what they were hired to do and it was the right thing to do. I was shocked by this because it is hard to find a company and crew off workers that will stand by their work like that. Terra Firma might be more expensive than other quotes you get but it was the first time I have felt that a company genuinely cared about the quality of their work and they treated my home with respect. James and his crew (Byron, Alex, and Jake) went way above and beyond to make our basement a better and more useable place. They certainly could have just done the minimum that was agreed upon but they didn't and they will get my business for any future needs because of it. Our unfinished basement and crawlspace is now clean, comfortable and dry. The work was transformative. I highly recommend this company.

TerraFirma people James, Bryan and Jorge that came out to the job were very respectful of my property and hard working to finish the job in one day. My wife and I noticed that they liked working together and enjoyed working for there company and took pride in the job they were doing. They stayed until they were satisfied and we were satisfied with the with the finale completion of the project. they left the job site in good shape.
