Terra Firma recently completed a foundation lift involving 18 push piers and 3 helical. My home is situated on the Columbia River with a sloping hillside down to the river. We had our house leveled, Jonah was the project manager, Roberto the foreman, James R. and Antonio J. They were very professional and had all the work done in four days, we even had a barbecue with them, with my homemade potato salad... Also they found a leak in our sewer pipes, so that's our next project. I highly recommend TerraFirma, fantastic service ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

After I bought a 115 year old house built partially into a hill near the top of Council Crest in Portland and discovered that the walls bled water when it rained, two walls were built into a hill and had endured the pressure of water and mud for a century, causing cracks and turning the foundation to crumbles, I called Terra Firma when an neighbor with an old house told me about her experience. Terra Firma has a great reputation. During the first meeting, Hannah walked the property and made a detailed proposal, explaining how Terra Firma would ensure that the walls do not cave in by shoring them up and anchoring them, supplemented with a vapor lock system to keep the water out of the house. NO MORE MUSTY SMELL, THANK YOU! Hannah explained the plan thoroughly, using her iPad to ensure that I understood. It could not get any better than this...I signed the paperwork immediately and contracted for the foundation repair and upgrade. This week, Geovany and his team spent four days working very hard and very smart to finish the project on time, and without any hitches. And they were working hard, very thoughgoing and steadfast. I am extraordinarily pleased with the work of the TerraFirma team, and how they did it. It is obvious by looking at the work that my basement walls are solid, secure, and dry. THANK YOU TerraFirma!

We’ve been TerraFirma customers for years; they installed and maintain our sump pumps. Today we needed a new vapor barrier installed in our crawlspace. I got other bids, but TerraFirma’s seemed to have the most accurate and thorough inspection and at a competitive price. I’m glad I stuck with TerraFirma because James and Casey were amazing! Extremely professional and hardworking. They were clean workers and left my home just as it was before they arrived. I would definitely recommend James, Casey and the entire TerraFirma crew.

In a word, Terra Firma was AWESOME! From the beginning to the end. Everyone involved, from the first visit by Tyler to the project coordinator, Jonah, to the crew that did the hard work of stabilizing my foundation, James the foreman, along with Oscar and Jayden. The engineering and permitting with the city were handled and I was informed all along the way. The crew showed up on the dot every day, was friendly, professional and respectful of the property. My property was restored to the condition they found it in with pressure washing and putting the deck back together. They also alerted me to problems with my plumbing that needed to be addressed that I would not have otherwise been aware of. It was work that needed to be done to avoid any further damage, inability to sell at a later time or saving my family the burden of dealing with it.

Estimator Seth patiently answered all my questions allowing me to make an informed decision with no pressure. Foreman James was respectful as he let me know exactly what they were about to do and why. His team including Oscar and Brian were hard consistent workers. They lifted the back on my home 1 and 1/2 inches and all my doors shut for the first time in years. My home was now level, the cracks in the walls came together and the squeaking in the floor stopped. It was amazing. Highly recommended. No buyers regret. Thank you all at TerraFirma. Nick

The whole process was very simple. I had standing water under my house. Clay Carter came out right away, took a look, gave me an estimate and scheduled the work at a time that fit with my schedule. Katie Salazar in the office checked in thru every step to ensure the progress was to my satisfaction.The crew James Taylor, Chris Raycraft, Carter Dennis and Mikey Castaneda were excellent. They obviously do this alot. James explained the job to me thoroughly. They worked quickly and communicated with eachother respectfully; which I appreciate. They left my house, inside and out, cleaner that they found it. When my brother, a carreer Excavator Operator referred them to me, he said, " They're the best, don't even bother with anyone else". I believe him to be 100% correct.

James and his crew were efficient, kind, and exceeded my expectations. My foundation was needed piers both outside and in the basement, yet they were quick and cleaned up. I even noticed a change in my home’s interior when it was fixed! Cracks closed up. They took care of the whole process, including permits and inspections. And, James communicated, including walking me through, clearly listening to my responses. I recommend TerraFirma, especially James who was the foreman on my job, especially to those who want to be respected, want to understand what is happening, and want good communication throughout the job.
