6/25/2024 Seeing I did a review 2 months ago.. I am unable to make a new one- here is the update for the work we did! 6/21-6/24/2024 Work started and completed by TerraFirma! We do not even know what to say, THANK YOU WILL NEVER BE ENOUGH, You all went Way above and beyond expectations. I added pictures. To the Friday crew, to install a piering system, Jake, Aden, Steven (sorry if I spelled it wrong) what can we say, from start to finish this team was a well oiled machine, worked really really well together, put up with my husband Mark and I and all our questions and chit chat. The time that was taken to ensure EVERYTHING was going right, was explained and to ensure the safety of our home was just awesome. We had a lot of fun with these guys in conversation and jokes. When all the work was done, you could not even tell anyone was at the house working all day. These 3 great guys were some of the most fun and charismatic group we have had at the house in years. 🙂 Last but not least.... Jake you are a wonderful teacher to the crew, you have great leadership and a pretty awesome work ethic. Monday with Robert for the leveling of the driveway, walkway and stairs to front door. Working for TerraFirma for 2.5 years, Robert showed much skill and patience, as he worked alone and took his time to ensure that the proper amounts of polyfill was being pushed into all the tiny little holes he drilled all over the place. A tedious process and Robert defiantly has the patience for this part. I asked lots of questions and was pleased with all the knowledge. Again, a crew member that went above and beyond to ensure that what we expected was completed. Robert's ability to close the gaps, level a drive way that had repairs 2 times prior and failed and seeing the garage door with no gapping really blew our minds! We truly could not be happier with the outcome. Towards the end of the day, Jon, a field Supervisor came by to help with the concrete work to fill in the pier holes in the garage. Jon was just the nicest and in the short amount of time he was at our home helping, he was knowledgeable and we had great conversation while he helped with the perfect concreate work! My family and I would like to say, the longest part was waiting for permits once the work started, it went quick, it was done RIGHT, we are truly 100% satisfied with the outcome. For now I am rating what I KNOW with 5 stars and wish I could give more. If the work, the work ethic, the understanding and the compassion towards customers follows through this entire project the way it has just begun, I will tell you, I will brag on this company all day long!! I came across TerraFirma at the Tacoma Trade show March 2024. I spoke with both Samuel and Tulane regarding the issues at our home in South Hill Puyallup. I filled out a form, was contacted later the following week to schedule a FREE Estimate and had Samuel come to our home. Thinking we would just show him a couple things and Sam would be in and out in 30 mins, my husband and I were almost confused and very IMPRESSED with the 2.5 hour inspection, overview, breakdown of cost and mapping per say of the work area for our home. We found out and were educated on the scale of " oh S**t that is going on and that there was more to our project than a sinking driveway. Sam was beyond respectable and patient 😉 especially when listening to my concerns and questions on the what is next... and the cost of the what's next. We have now put down our deposit for work to be completed, due to permits that are needed, work can be up to 4 months out now, so Pierce county, please hurry... 😉 From our family to TerraFirma.... we look forward to working with you all soon.

The 2 men that were here were exceptional, very professional in their work detail and answered all my concerns. The finish product was awesome. Highly recommend this product. Thanks to everyone that helped with my concrete repairs. Thanks again Greg

We purchased a home in 2020 that had undisclosed water infiltration in the basement that resulted in all basement finishes needing to be demolished to clean up the water and remove mold. TerrFirma was the only company who was able to diagnose and address both water infiltration caused by poor exterior yard grading and drainage and also the interior water proofing needed. They also repaired and stabilized a very large structural crack in our basement foundation wall. In addition to doing all this work they were also able to fit earthquake retrofitting into the project while here when asked (after they showed up to start the project). The estimator, Bridget was very meticulous in her bid and made comparing estimates easy. Her experitse, flexibility, follow through and communication were superb. Working with Spencer Hunt, the project foreman, was so stress free. He was able to accommodate our request for earthquake retrofitting even though TerraFirma was extremely busy. He was excellent at explaining everything the crew was doing. He checked in with us through every step of the process to make sure we were educated about and happy with the work. We are so happy we used TerraFirma and would recommend them to anyone who needs drainage, foundation, concrete, earthquake and waterproofing work done in the future!

I had a narrow but long concrete path that had heaved over the years and was cracked in a couple of places. Terra Firm leveled it perfectly and filled the cracks and gaps beautifully. Now I have a level path that I plan to expand with pavers on both sides. Huge cost savings, as my other option was to rip out the concrete and do a total reboot. Great people and a fair price for the work done. They were all done in one day and came back promptly to redo one gap between pads that wasn't just perfect. I highly recommend the Terra Firma experience. Bryna and Ken were a pleasure to work with.

Terra firma lifted four sinking concrete slabs on our swimming pool deck. They used the poly foam method and did a fantastic job. We are extremely pleased with the results and we would definitely recommend Terra firma for this type of service. Casey, Ken, Cameron and Sammy are an exceptional team. So I had Jorge as a Forman with Juan, Manuel, Kevin, Zach, and Daniel. First off, Jorge did an excellent job of communicating the process, explaining materials he was using, and setting up the sump online system with my wife (it was the first time he'd installed this particular sump, so the set up was new to him as well). Secondly, When he was done, even though it was Friday night and I know he wanted to get back home, he chatted with my wife and I and was very pleasant and positive. I believe he said he's been there for four years and also said it was a great company to work for. I also work in the construction industry and was generally curious about the company. I could tell he was sincere. Lastly, To say they worked hard was an extreme understatement; they had to haul in by hand 5 gallon buckets of concrete and haul out all the jackhammering they did to get the foundation flood protection as well as the sump set. No standing around. No cell phone use. Just solid work. Jorge's crew was friendly enough, but they were no-nonsense and left the up front communication to him. The cost wasn't cheap, but we went with Terra Firma strictly on reputation. We live about 75 miles out of PDX, and to get the job done, they sent out an additional crew for a crucial piece of the work. I would say, despite the cost (and it's not like they were ripping me off, it was just a costly project), I got my money's worth based on what I saw from the labor intensity. I really can't believe how much they did in such little time. They said "one day", and by God they made it happen. They had to hammer out approximately a 75' long, 8" wide by 10" deep trench along the inner concrete foundation of my house, hammer out and install a sump, then core out, install and set a discharge conduit about 12 feet outside of my house. Not a small task for a day's work. My only nitpick would be there was a small amount of dust left over from the work, despite the very elaborate taping and containment plastic they used (which was a LOT). They did great of taping everything and covering floors, etc. I was concerned about silica, and Jorge told me they would use a vacuum shroud for the hammering process, which I assume was done, but was not at home for that phase of the process. My wife has asthma, so dust is our nemesis! This is one of those projects that you hope you don't have to use (flood prevention), but a small part of me wants to have water trickle in to see the efficacy of the work. Time will tell! Until then, thank you Jorge and crew for kicking some ass, and getting a good tackle on our flood prevention!

We’re very happy with work we had done. They were able to level some sidewalks for us that we thought we were going to have to replace. The crew that we had were Ken, Zach, Austin and Shelby. We were happy with all of them for the roles they played in getting the job done.

Our 121 yr old home’s 1930 add-on had visible water damage that eroded the concrete foundation in one corner of our home. Upon initial inspection, the plan was to support that corner, replace some posts in the basement, and repair some pony wall framing. I got a couple of other bids and found TFFS to not only be comparable, but to also provide the security of a larger company’s resources. The day work was to begin, the crew realized our home’s situation was more complicated than initially realized. They brought in a specialist to assess the work needed and created a game plan, coordinating w a plumber and fitting us into their very busy schedule. They were able to do the work needed for our home without massive increases to our initial bid, and our floors no longer bounce and slope. Their crew communicated thoroughly throughout the entire process and cleaned up after themselves. The crawl space was leveled and plastic sheeting was in place. The only reason I’m giving this a 4star is because our initial project coordinator let us fall through the cracks when she took an extended leave of absence. However, they responded to my follow up inquiry professionally, promptly, and worked really hard to get our old home in the schedule. We feel much more secure about the health of our home and 100% recommend them.

We had Terra Firma out to assess some exterior foundation cracks and our concrete entryway settling unevenly. Sam Bryant assisted us and he was incredibly professional, personable, and helpful! Sam walked us through everything he saw, and was direct about what does/does not need attention; we didn’t feel like he was trying to “hard sell” services, more that he was here to help us understand the situation and what’s necessary to resolve it. He spent some time on his own taking measurements and drew up his recommendations, then walked us through them in great detail, including the exact price of each line item. We asked him to give us a quote for basement waterproofing too, and the price was very reasonable. For a free consultation, we got way more than we expected. We feel confident Sam will take care of us and are excited to work with Terra Firma!

Robert & Elijah showed up on time and did a phenomenal job lifting three large concrete slabs on my back patio. They were quick, clean, and professional. I would recommend TerraFirma and both Robert & Elijah.

Professional work with any type of outdoor leveling, strengthening, walkway reconstruction or similar concrete work. Interesting to work with the estimator person(s) for ideas and project details. Highly recommended.

The crew were on time, introduced themselves and made sure that we were all on the same page as far as what they were doing. Lifted the back patio up and leveled the sidewalk to martch. Looks great! Did a good job of cleaning up. I would reccomend them for any type of concrete lifting. Thanks guys!
